Application and Organization
This policy applies to JCIP EDGE, the official digital ecosystem of JCI Philippines. JCIP EDGE supports members, merchants, partners, administrators, events, rewards, digital cards, eTap profiles, and related platform services.
Information We Collect
When you sign in to JCIP EDGE using Google Login, we may collect your Google account name, email address, and profile image if provided by Google. We also collect information you submit in the app, including membership details, chapter information, position history, contact details, business listings, uploaded EIS screenshots, business documents, redemption activity, eTap card information, notifications, and related account activity.
Purpose of Processing
We use your information to authenticate your account, verify JCI membership, process member and merchant approvals, route users to the correct dashboard, provide member benefits, support eTap profiles and cards, manage events, deliver notifications, prevent misuse, and improve JCIP EDGE services.
Uploaded Verification Files
Screenshots, IDs, business documents, and other uploaded files are used only for verification, approval, record validation, and platform support. Access is limited to authorized administrators or reviewers who need the information for official JCIP EDGE operations.
Public Listings and eTap Profiles
Some information may be displayed publicly only when needed for features you use, such as approved business listings or active eTap public profiles. These may include business name, offer details, contact channels, branch details, public profile data, and other details you choose to provide.
How We Store and Protect Data
User data is stored securely through the JCIP EDGE application infrastructure. We use access controls, role-based permissions, and security measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or deletion of personal information.
Sharing and Disclosure
JCIP EDGE does not sell personal data or Google user data. We may share limited information only when needed to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, protect users, support official JCI Philippines administrative processes, or provide requested services such as member verification, merchant approvals, public listings, and eTap profiles.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep user data only as long as necessary to provide JCIP EDGE services, meet operational requirements, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable laws. Users may request review, correction, or deletion of applicable personal data by contacting JCIP EDGE administrators.
Google API Services User Data Policy
JCIP EDGE’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
User Rights Under Data Privacy Laws
Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or review of applicable personal data, subject to verification and legal or operational requirements. JCIP EDGE aims to handle personal data consistent with applicable Philippine data privacy principles.
